Lately some of my co-workers and I have been obsessed with food storage. We started little classes with just the 3 of us teaching each other what we know about food storage and learning about it together. It has been pretty exciting so far. This morning in talking to my boss, I found out the she is the the food storage rep for her ward and actually created a blog for it. I haven't had much time to look at it yet but added it to my links section for every one else to look at. If anyone has any good websites, let me know and I can share it with my co-workers to feed our obsession. Thanks! Have a great weekend!

very cool! thank you. I was talking to a friend about what she does yesterday- she's one of those people who gets all the leftover Sunday ads, goes thru every one and clips every coupon and then combines those coupons with the stores sales that week (which are also in those ads, so she knows which stores she can combine coupons with. Then she goes to that store and buys them out and everything on the shelf for like $3. Just a couple of days ago she bought 6 bottles of pop (big ones) and 12 boxes of brownies for .31!
The kicker is that you make sure you go thru the self-check-out lane and when the machine starts printing up "$1" off your next order coupons, you scan those (it will print quite a few if you are buying 10 or more of those items) and you can use that to make your price super squeaky low. The person Im talking about is the chick on my post right now- Maiya. She's the deal girl in our ward. The only hard part about shopping like that is that you have to drive long distances sometimes to get to surrounding area stores but her entire garage is FULL.
My mom is the food storage queen. You should see the things she has and stuff she has sealed and canned away!
I'm really impressed! We have a pretty good stock of cereal and spaghetti sauce...maybe I need some help :)
