okay, I have a really gross story to tell you about.
There was this kid that went to high school with Nate and I. He went on his mission to Paraguay. He ended up getting sent home because of this story about him.
One night he woke up because he was itching all over. When he turned on the light, there were ants everywhere. They were all over his bed and blankets and crawling on him. Him and his companion got up and somehow exterminated all of them. I dont know if they had some spray or what...
anyway...a couple weeks later, his skin was itching really bad, so he was scratching his skin and ant eggs were pouring out of his skin and pores as he scratched. He said he didnt know what to do and had to apply pressure ans squish his arms, legs and rest of his body to squish the eggs out. He said that the ants had laid eggs in his pores and he freaked out, he had a bipolar episode and so he got sent home. He was able to take some pills to get rid of it before he go back to the states. EWE! That is the grossest story ever. His companion is native to Paraguay and didn't have anything wrong with him.
I dont know how else he should have handled it. i think that anyone that had that happen would have some sort of an episode. i would cry my eyes out and wish i was dead. That is probably one of the worst things to happen to anyone.

EWWW! I once had a dream that bees were boring holes in me, and this totally reminded me of it..... just makes ya shiver all over! I think I would have freaked out at that dream more if I knew about this ant thing...
I have seriously never in my entire life heard of something like that. Did he say if he gets nightmares about it? did it leave scarring? that poor guy- cheezwiz, the things these good guys do for the Lord. How is he doing with the whole having to leave his mission early thing? How is he doing with the depression?? man, sick. Im going to try to look it up now...see if there's anything else on the web. You're not telling a halloween nasty story are you?
no, it is sooo true. Nate and i saw him at one of our friends weddings about 2 months ago. He is kind of a weird guy so i tried not to talk to him for very long and i didnt even ask him why he came home early. Later that night, i heard the story about him from my other friend. i didnt quite believe it. But last night at liz's shower, one of the girls that came is married to this kid's best friend and she heard it diretly from him. He is a weird kid...so i really dont want to ask him...he will talk forever.
haha..that is too funny. and sick. poor dude. Makes ya wonder how it happened just to him and no one else...like there was something else going on. I mostly don't get how he didnt know until they cracked out of his skin...you'd think he'd have noticed long before that.
i know, ewe, it gives me goosebumps to think about it. Yuuuccckk!
I had something off the subject. I found a dress but it was strapless too so I found a cute little white jacket to go with it but together they looked lame and the top wasn't really appropriate even with a jacket (next to impossible to find a dress that's modest, in my size and red here) so I cut the top off today and made it into a skirt! I will just wear a cute little tank top under the jacket and we're in business! I also found these adorable red heels. I just have to find some gelly stuff to put in the foot part so I don't die of agonizing pain. They're fine for a few minutes but...yah. Anyway, phew. found one. We wont be in Logan til late Friday night :(
i think nate and i will be leaving after work on friday...we will probably be there around 8 or 9. I hope you get enough sleep. The sealling is at like 8:30 in the MORNING!! I guess you got to start early to get everything done in one day!
oh, i didn't know that, good to know!
The temple went well last night. We all went to this indian restaurant afterwards and it was great. I think Nate and i really liked it. We didnt get home until midnight last night. I felt bad for Nate because he drove the whole time and i slept. It was nice tho.
so cool!! Thanks for the update, it helps me be a tiny part of it. Sucks we only get to stay a couple of days but Im still excited to see you guys :) Love you!
ps- I've called Kirsten twice- anyone heard from her yet?
I'm wondering of our tin-tin has already left and they're on a big vacation or something... did you call her home phone or the cell phone?
I am glad Nate liked the restaurant... he kept looking at the spinach puree and telling me it looked like diarrhea. He shut up about that pretty quick after he tasted it tho. :D
hahaha....diarhea...thats great. I thought that about the hot artichoke and spinach dip when I was at Olive Garden. but man...lots of happy calories that night! Im still surprised you guys chose and Indian Restaurant, thats cool!
oh yah- talked to kirsten for a long time yesterday. We didnt even get to talk about the part where she hasn't blogged forever, too busy talking about other stuff but she sounds perfectly busy and fine. They leave for Utah today too, this afternoon.
That is maybe the grossest story ever!! No, wait, refer back to the blog Anne had on the rehearsal dinner, "The Photo", that still trumps this...
I am kinda wondering, is this guy weird enough that maybe, he was a bit mental, and the ants part is true, but he was maybe losing it and "thought" he had them still all over him? It just sounds so Star Trekky.... doesn't it?... makes me wonder if he is stable, but, for sure, if it did happen, I would be certified.... Coo-Coo!!! I couldn't handle that. I can't stand finding the dead roaches in my garage down here! Ewww.
